«Was very comfortable. Nice area. Would recommend for someone that wants to relax. Only drawback is owner lives upstairs, so you do hear walking around and a little noise from upstairs. But overall it is worth it for a nice stay.»

The house wasn’t perfectly spotless and stained carpets and too many things on the walls but nothing terrible. It was all easily overlooked because we were all together with lots of room to spread out if needed.»

«Graduation at UConn in early May 2024. Kim’s house was clean and spacious with incomparable views of the lake. There were many areas in the house for you to have your own private space and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were multiple ways to access the wonderful deck and sunroom. Most of my guests were over the age of 70 and the shallow carpeted indoor stairs leading to the bedrooms presented a challenge for only one of my guests. We lost our mother last month and we needed a little get away and the Trumbull house fit the bill. Easy communication with host and the house was neat with all its history. We walked the local cemetary. Quick drives to local restaurants.»

«We found the property to be excellent in every way. The shower was a little small for my very large husband but perfect for me!😁. We wished we were staying longer because it was pretty and restful. Our only complaint was the coffee maker. It’s an off brand “Keurig” and wouldn’t work with the Keurig pods we brought with us. I’d recommend the owners spring for the real thing since coffee is VERY important!!»
