The kitchen is well equipped with spices and a few sauces sugar etc. Jacky was very helpful to us as he knows the local area really well, he gave us advice for buses up to the ski areas. Main negatives are lower level (where bedrooms are located) is very very warm, need to keep windows cracked to be comfortable. Hot tub temp drops fairly fast when in use. «Our family stayed in the chalet for the long weekend of our daughter's wedding. There was room for all our adult children and their partners! We even did pre-wedding hair and make-up there. The chalet is incredibly well-stocked -- lots of glasses, silverware etc....We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was easy. And the communication with our host was excellent. «The chalet was close to the bus station that takes you to Chamonix, but it was far enough that it felt not crowded. It had an incredible view of Les Bossons glacier. It was roomy enough for 10 adults and absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. It was a bit warm in the house in the afternoon but we are accostomed to air con and just opened windows to let it air out. If we have another group in chamonix we will stay again!!! Merci!»

«Chalet Oscar is in a fantastic location central to town. We had a big group (6 adults and one infant) which works well in the layout of the chalet. It is only 8 mins walk to a great bakery, 2 minutes walk to a fantastic bar and about 10 minute into the centre of town. Access to activities was brilliant and we got free train passes from the tourist office which made for a great week when not much else was open.
