«Vi var to par som dro noen dager til Bath etter anbefaling fra flere som har vært der. Vi valgte the Gainsborough pga beliggenhet og fordi det så ut som et flott hotell med en flott spa-avdeling. Vi ble ikke skuffet! Hotellet koster mer enn mange andre, men hotellet har ansatte som ALLE var særdeles service-innstilte og imøtekommende. Anbefales på det varmeste!»

«The Inn consists of several well kept old building, an we got a room in the main building. The rooms have names, not numbers, and we stayed in the Penn room on the top floor. We had lovely views over the garden and the river. The surroundings are so picture perfect; it feels like your walking around in a British TV series.»

A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience.»

«The outdoor bar Gin and Juice was a tropical paradise with fun cocktails and a lovely garden setting. The Japanese restaurant was also excellent. Staff were very friendly and our room was large and beautifully appointed. We'll plan a trip to Cheltenham just to stay in the hotel again!»
