«Spent a wonderful 3 nights at Alderley house with friends. House very well equipped, plenty of crockery , glasses etc. Very comfortable living room and lovely and warm . «We had the most amazing time in this property. The location is stunning and overlooking the lake. The house itself was beautiful, well equipped, with large rooms and bathrooms. It was also kitted out with cute extra touches like beautiful throws and a christmas tree. "The hotel is fine. The aircon was great (heatwave when we were there). Good room with a fridge, so in general happy with the room. We didn't go to the spa, so I don't know how that is. We did however have dinner at the restaurant one night. The service was so bad and the food was ok-ish, when we got what we ordered. We had to go find someone to order drinks and ask for water, and we tried to make contact with the waiters a long time. The cutlery was also dirty. We saw several other tables (most of the tables) sending their order back. Breakfast also seemed alot like dinner, with dirty cutlery and cups, and no service. It seemed like we could order breakfast from the kitchen (based on the menu on the table stating "breakfast"), but we didn't bother to find someone to order from..."
