Everything was great except we had no hot water at all during our stay and for a few hours in the morning of our departure the water was turned off because the hot water heater was being worked on. We weren’t told the hot water heater wasn’t working on the property until after we had been charged for our room and after we had already arrived to the property exhausted. A shower was much needed and a big part of what we needed a room for in the first place, that and a good nights sleep before getting back on the road on our 23 hour trip. If we would’ve been called and pre warned about the water situation, we would’ve cancelled and found another hotel so we could shower. We had worked all day, driven 7 hours and then arrived so ready to wash up and get in bed to rest before getting back on the road for another full day of driving so it was all pretty frustrating to be honest though I do understand these things happen, however I do believe we should’ve at least been notified of the issue when we booked, that way we could make our own decision before going there and wasting our money on what we thought would be a shower and a nights sleep. Also, our neighbors talked and such the entire night, which is great for them but ridiculous that we could hear every single word said through the walls like they were right there in the room with us.
I hate complaining, seriously I do, but this was just a bad experience where we didn’t get what we paid for and was a total waste of our money.
