«We were disappointed with our visit. While the photos make the patio look clean, on our arrival the smell of dog urine was significant and dog feces were present along the very narrow walkway between the gate and the back patio at close-to face level due to the high wall on the left as you approach. Cleanliness was the first issue. The refrigerator was also not working properly and we found the cookware not satisfactory for more than one person (i.e., only a single very small skillet). «This hotel was built in the 1930s and is very old. The owners have a lot of information regarding the history of the building and continue to do regular maintenance and updates. The hotel is on a semi quiet street and conveniently located with easy access to San Diego, Coronado Island and the places I visit in Chula Vista.
