Layout
The villa is set over three floors to take advantage of the living space and the fantastic views. An attractive iron gate leads to the private parking area. The main living area is on the middle floor. It features a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a nicely decorated lounge (extra sofa bed for the 9th guest) with a log fire, and patio doors opening to the front veranda and pool area (offering great views), a WC. An interior staircase leads to the upper level, onto the sea-facing main bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The main bedroom also has direct access to a private terrace with views of the Ionian Sea. Three bedrooms are located on the lower floor and are accessible via a staircase from the lounge. They are respectively two doubles and a twin, sharing a family bathroom. Two bedrooms have further direct access via patio doors to the outside, with a staircase leading directly to the pool area. For the comfort of our guests, the interiors of the villa are fully air-conditioned.

Outside terraces and pool
The lovely, private swimming pool is within well-cared gardens with a lawn. It measures 9 X 4 m and has comfortable sunbeds and parasols. The swimming pool faces east towards the sea and attracts sun all day long, with beautiful views: it is the perfect spot to enjoy long, warm days under the shining Corfiot sun. For the lovers of al-fresco dining, a poolside pergola with barbecue is available: dining with the twinkling lights of Corfu Town in the background will be a true dream!
The area is charming, unobstructed, quiet, and densely populated with olive trees, just a 5-minute drive from all local facilities and the famous Marina of Gouvia.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Senses, as a group of 7 girls it was the perfect size and had everything we needed! Beautiful scenery, very spacious and lots of areas to socialise both inside and out, whether you wanted sun or shade.The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, both before and during the stay. We were very impressed to have two cleans during our week and to be left with some nice treats too! The only thing to note would be the remote location, as it was difficult to get taxis with the unnamed road. Would definitely recommend getting a car as it is long a walk down to the nearest bus stop or shop in the summer heat. There are lots of buses from the main road though which give access to all areas of the island.

Gouvia is a fully developed tourist resort, set at the back of a picturesque bay and it is ideal for couples, families or for those ones who feel promising days relaxing on the beach, fun and unforgettable nights in one of the many restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
Gouvia is located only 8 kms away from Corfu International airport and it used to be a small fishing village before the famous Marina was established, as the place has a strong seafaring history going back to its days as a Venetian naval base.
Except the Marina, Gouvia offers a large variety of Hotels, apartments, villas of all types, restaurants, tavernas and bars.
The beach is pebbly and houses all the categories of water sports, boat hire and daily trips to the North of the island.
The calmness of the day and the lively atmosphere of the night in Gouvia, both combined with a feeling of cozziness, can only promise a memorable holiday in this beautiful and cosmopolitan Corfiot spot.
