«This is the biggest rip off. For what I paid for one night here I could have stayed in a Hilton with actual soap, shampoo, conditioner, real coffee with an actual cup, a hot breakfast buffet, and a comfortable bed and linens that are actually soft, and a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Yes, the view is beautiful, but it’s Coastal Maine, there are plenty of places with beautiful views. The good-beautiful view, hot water, there is a hot tub (that smells) and an outdoor sauna The bad- no one ...

«this place was the perfect spot to take in the shops, restaurants, bars, and beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was well appoinmted with a cute reading nook, clean sheets, and even a split AC unit should we have needed it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming.....not to mention great bakers! Breakfast was wonderful every day, with a baked muffin, and a choice of a sweet or savory meal. Coffee and tea were available all day. We would not hesitate to stay here again.»

«Quimby House is a charming hotel in Bar Harbor. Only a short walk from the town center. The room I got had a very different style from the usual sterile look of the typical hotel. I had some issues with the WiFi and the plumbing could use some TLC but all in all an enjoyable stay. Please note that the hotel has three floors and no elevator!»

«I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though»

«This was such a lovely place to stay with so much to do right nearby. The hosts have literally everything covered in their very helpful guide. The outdoor shower under the stars was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. Very peaceful location to rest after busy days visiting Acadia. We would stay here again! Highly recommend Acadia puffin boat tour right down the road, Hollingsworth trail, Birch Point trail and Pigeon Hill trail.»

«A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer!»
