Quiet, peaceful, and ready for fun, this waterfront home is sure to be the highlight of your next getaway to North Twin Lake! Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a superb location with the ATV/UTV trail and the Phelps/Conover bike trail approximately 300 yards away.

Inside, find yourself enwrapped in glowing, knotty pine walls and hardwood floors as you prepare meals in the updated, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dine at the table for four, and relax in the cozy living area, and watch your favorite shows or movies on the smart TV. If you feel like getting a bit of fresh air, you will have access to the boathouse with a canoe and a swimming raft! And with the addition of a private washer/dryer, you can pack lightly and stay on top of your laundry during your stay.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Situated right on the shore of North Twin Lake, you'll have direct access to non-stop water activities just steps from your door! Whether it's fishing, boating, or kayaking, you can spend all day out on the water. During winter, access hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails, go ice fishing, snowshoeing, or Nordic skiing, or just enjoy the wintery scene from indoors. North Twin Lake is a 2,871-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 60 feet, and fishing, no matter the season, is great here with Musky, Panfish, Bass, and Walleye all competing for your lures. This retreat is also one mile from the Conover bike trail. Plus, the Phelps Bike Trails are open, and you can access them right across the road from this property!

Enjoyable Getaway
Enjoyed this location - perfect for getting away with our daughter and her boyfriend. The guys caught enough walleye to feed us one night. Quiet, peaceful spot. Nice beds. Would stay there again.

Northwoods Classic Experience
Vacasa properties are always clean and well cared for. We had another great experience with a clean well organized property. The property was in a great location and the lake was gorgeous with access to their small craft that made it even more fun. Plenty of towels were on the ready and the washer/dryer was well functioning. Note that there is no dishwasher.

Exceptional!
This is a wonderful property, and perfect for my daughter, me, and my two grandsons (5 & 7). Fishing off the pier, floating in tubes, campfire in fire ring, watching fireworks across the lake, all wonderful! The house was clean, everything needed was provided, stout and soundproof. Ran out of time to take out the canoe! A Northwoods gem that we would definitely return to.

Worst rental ever
Requested an early check in and even offered to pay extra and denied so we sat in front of the empty unit for 3 hours to await the 4pm check in. We weren’t there 10 minutes before some man shows up saying he’s there to inspect the smoke detectors. First of all that should be done when there are no guests there secondly he wore no mask when we are in a terrible and contagious pandemic. The WiFi password provided didn’t work so the man after trying for 30 minutes to fix it called someone who said to check the table and see if the housekeeper left the password in which they did which was a totally different password. Not that it mattered because the internet didn’t work. That also meant that since the owner is a cheap skate and didn’t provide cable or satellite that we couldn’t watch television because there was no internet. Called and complained more than a dozen times and nothing was done . They then offered me a $25/ night compensation for no tv or internet which is insulting. This was a trip for my 80 year old mother to return to her childhood town ruined by slumlords and a sketchy rental company who are incompetent. The entire house is filled with the owners garbage so no closet space because all their clothing and junk are on there. Medicine cabinet filled with medicine and junk. Kitchen filled with half used food and spices. Ice maker doesn’t work. Downstairs shower is so small you can hardly fit in it. Remotes to upstairs tv didn’t work. Fans in room don’t work. The driveway is long and you must back out. The only way you can view the water is to go to the dock because they have allowed the trees and bushes to grow so large you can’t see anything. The neighbor had a much better yard and view. Speaking of the dock I would be careful because that dock seems like it could break at any moment. This place was a complete disappointment and I wouldn’t recommend. The interior looks good but once you start to really pay attention it’s a let down.

Good Spot
I enjoyed the house and property, the location is excellent. If you are looking for suggestions I have some. The house in the bedroom had a weird smell upon arrival. I would make sure someone keeps the deck and below area clean leaves and acorns as best they can. I would move the TV upstairs to the opposite bedroom, to counteract people watching so close to one another. I would expect more than a roll of paper towels, the kayak listed was not present for use, the grill needs a thorough cleaning. Beds were great, and we really enjoyed our time, it s great house in a special area. The above are not complaints, but suggestions for better experiences, plus you probably want to find your kayak, lol. Thank you.
