«We went to do some hiking, the property was in a great location within an hour of all of the places we wanted to go ( Crabtree falls, Chimney Rock, Tom’s falls). Loved the Linville winery. The owners left plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the game room and views from the porch!»

«This was our second stay in the cabin, because it has all the conveniences and comfortable touches anyone could wish for in a mountain vacation home. From the well stocked kitchen, to the very comfy chairs in the living room, to the dining table with stunning views over the mountains, to the comfortable bed on the main level. «It was a beautiful stay. But beware not internet for cell service. They do seem to have a stink bug infestation, so they were flying around inside. Over all we loved the creek and secluded feeling.»

« This property was beautiful. The cabin was well stocked extremely clean. The hot tub was hot clean ready to go. Plenty of towels. «The neighborhood itself is beautiful, surroundings and views are gorgeous, peaceful. I loved spending time in the morning in the back porch. We brought our dogs who enjoyed their time getting fresh air too. Hosts were so hospitable. I brought a lot of kitchen items from home, but they had everything we would’ve needed. «Small details make for the best stay! From plenty of towels (bath and hot tub) to two luggage racks for each room along with new pots, pans, etc - this house made us feel like we were at home. The property manager responded quickly about the few items we needed help with (hot tub temp, garage bags, etc.) Plus provided suggestions of things to do in NC in the springtime. Our family had wonderful nights at fire pit and hot tub overlooking the valley. Would highly recommend!»

«Visited home on Memorial Day weekend. Cannot say enough great things. Location: Lake James is very large, deep lake, but with state park and camping facilities on a large portion, the houses are limited compared to other lakes and crowds are very light.
