«Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling which had been painted over but still showed ...

«Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.»

«This property is set in the most beautiful location. There are sweeping vistas and the hotel makes the most of them with large windows in the dining room. There is ample free parking and the rooms are clean and homey. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the time spent here.»

«Good check in, good staff, lots of parking. Room was large and very nicely decorated, if a little warm (there was a fan but it was very very dirty and I had to dismantle it and clean it to get it to work properly). Room was let down by the bathroom - there was visibly peeling and missing paint around the top of the shower, and splash marks/spilled...something all up the walls behind the door and by the toilet. The seat on the toilet was also a soft padded one, which was a little odd. ...
