«While maybe not exactly what I was expecting, this little barn house stay was great for our family holiday travel (with our dogs) to such a beautiful area. Very country cute. Remote. Had all amenities. Very thoughtful hosts. Quick and attentive support. Only suggestion, given closeness to road would have been nice to have a small fenced area outside for dogs.Still, a great little stay.»

«A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment ...

«We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, had a beautiful view, and was so peaceful and quiet. It accommodated our family of five comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed to prepare simple meals. The location was perfect - we enjoyed an afternoon of tubing and exploring the charming small-town shops nearby.The host was an excellent communicator and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing ...

«This historic house is gorgeous and charming! The rooms are impeccably decorated with unique touches, all different. The kitchen is perfectly modern. The grounds are lush with large trees, flowering bushes, ferns and more. The fences dog yard was perfect! The covered deck off the kitchen with a tall table and chairs along with a pizza oven and BBQ had a gate to the dog yard! Fire pit and yard games all just minutes to Saluda, NC. Book it!.»

«The house is very clean and very well equipped. Our stay was for a one night stopover on our way to our final destination. We did feel at home in this cozy three bedroom rental. It served our needs very well and much easier than checking into a hotel. The house is conveniently located just off of I-26. Just like a hotel or any other rentals located just off of a major highway, there is a fair amount of truck and traffic noise. Ear plugs may be helpful for sleeping to help tame some of the road ...

«While the location was beautiful the house was less than ideal. From broken glass in the yard to mold growing on ducttape on the ceiling, roaches in the kitchen, stained sheets and mattresses this place was not what we expected! We were going to try to make the space work and see it as a glass half full however when several of my kids were having coughing fits because of the mold we had to leave.»
