«Excellent stay at a unique hotel where the emphasis is on food, but accommodation is more than adequate.»

«Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. «Koselig hotell i nærheten av Bibury og Bath. Fin beliggenhet i det lille tettstedet Didmarton, med mye lokalbefolkning på puben. Avslappet stemning og hyggelig bemanning. Veldig flotte rom/cottage, med trivelig inventar og veldig gode senger. Maten på dette lille hotellet var helt fantastisk, vi spiste en flott middag og frokost Vi overnattet her en natt på vei til Bath»

«We have stayed here before several times but this time was really disappointing. We booked an accessible room but on arrival we were told this wasn't available and we were on the first floor. It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. No fan provided. We went straight to get a cold drink (having driven 200 miles we were parched). Ordered the drinks ...

«Nice building from the outside. Dining and bar area full of character. Outside area renovated. But inside is severely behind the times and it shows throughout. Very dated.»

«Lovely old inn, plenty of character. Rooms clean, nice bed linen and towels. Lovely breakfast and staff very friendly. Air-conditioning would have been appreciated but wasn't expected and really is seldom needed in the UK. Pleasant to sit in the beer garden for drinks and snacks.»

«The room had everything we needed, and we managed to get extra coffee when we required it. The staff were very helpful and made our visit run smoothly. For our stay, the air conditioning in the room was a bonus, as it was during a very hot spell. We didn't watch the TV, but it looked to have everything you might need on there. There were also USB ports next to the bed, so if you forget your charger, you are covered. The only thing that was a little disappointing was breakfast, as many items, ...
