We live upstairs with our three (very friendly) older dogs, but the suite is completely private. You won’t be disturbed—but if you have questions or need anything, we’re just a message away and happy to help.

On-Demand Service:

- Booking: Request a ride up to one week in advance through the 'Cobourg Transit' app, available through app stores, or online through by searching "Cobourg Transit"
- Service Hours: Monday to Friday: 6:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday: 8:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Sunday: 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- Features: With 184 stops throughout the town, the On-Demand system offers real-time ride tracking and a cashless payment option through your secure online account.

Limited Fixed Route Service:

- Route: Launched as a pilot program in September 2024, this service features 35 strategically located stops throughout Cobourg, covering high-demand and popular locations.
- Schedule: Buses run every hour, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Map: A detailed route map is available on the Town of Cobourg's website.

Fares:
- Single Cash Fare: $2.50 for both On-Demand and Fixed Route services.
- Payment Methods: Pay with cash on board, a reloadable Smart Card (available online or at Victoria Hall), bus tickets, or via the app for On-Demand rides.
- Children: Aged five and under ride free.

For those traveling between Cobourg and Port Hope, the Port Hope-Cobourg Express Shuttle offers trips twice per hour, connecting key locations in both towns.

Additionally, VIA Rail provides passenger train services at the Cobourg railway station, connecting you to destinations like Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.

Privacy & Layout: This is a basement apartment located in a family home. The units are completely private and locked off from one another.

Temperature Tips: The unit has central heating and A/C, but being a basement, it can run a bit cooler in winter. There are space heaters in each bedroom and a cozy fireplace in the living room. Let us know if you'd like to adjust the temperature—we’re happy to help.

Parking: You’ll have space for up to three vehicles. Please park on the left side of the driveway and avoid driving up to the shed, as it narrows.

Guest Verification: To protect our home and stay aligned with short-term rental regulations, we use an independent verification process for all guests. Please note: If you are booking outside of Airbnb, before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your reservation. If you are not booking with Airbnb you will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver.
