«Naranja Ocean View is a place we can truly recommend. Mal Pais was the best option on our tour around Costa Rica. This place is a little outside the village, calm, clean, big room, great terrace, helpful owner.
Fantastic restaurant at the beach nearby. Steady horses to rent near.

«Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects.
That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that ...
