«Overall, the stay was good. We didn’t know the basement also being rented out until we dug into the fine print. We only learned there were other guests in the basement from hearing their activity, then their smoke alarm going off from a cooking incident. The keyed locks on either side of the door gave us some peace of mind for privacy & safety, but it wasn’t ideal and felt a little awkward. «This was a really great location for exploring DC. We had a wonderful time biking around the city from Gravely Point.Food was close by, home was clean and organized. Check in great and host communicated very well with us.The only thing that reduced our rating, was having the pull out sofa in the basement, with a door that opened to the outside, and the other beds two floors up.
