«The hotel serves its purpose very well. Clean, spacious rooms with all the items you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are not always on site as they share service with the pub/restaurant, but when they are, they are friendly and helpful. Overall very good experience. »

«Terrific stay, lovely room with a fantastic view from patio. Great breakfast baskets which included all sort of quality goodies. Only negative was no food available in the evening midweek. Overall fantastic place to stay.»

«Stayed two nights. Room spacious, basic and comfortable. Some train noise. Includes good, basic breakfast components available outside room. Food in pub very good. Not luxurious but an excellent value stay.»

«Clean good sized room, towels, kettle, mugs/tea/coffee making facilities and ample breakfasts. Stayed in family rm and lucky to not have other people stay next door so had the shower/toilet to ourselves. Staff were nice, friendly and polite. Flexible in having takeaway sarnies for lunch in place of breakfast. Decor a bit dated and room a little too room, but on the whole felt very comfortable. Thanks 😊 »

«Very large comfortable room and great pub with good food and service. Room was heavily fragranced upon arrival so needed airing. Definitely recommend. The Tide Mill, river walk and Longboat area well worth visiting. »

«A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though.»

«Very welcoming & friendly staff, clean room & comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent with a choice of menu. My only concern was our window would Not stay open & we were very hot during the night although a fan was in the room could not sleep with it on, In the morning very little hot water pressure, this could be the someone else had the hot water running at the same time, these were very small negatives but would definitely stay here again »

«Little gem of a place, very good value. Room was basic but clean, and with a balcony and a view what more do you need? Very warm welcome. Breakfast not included but you can get it in the bar after 10. »

«Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The rooms were amazing ,super king size bed too ,which was so comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant,so much choice and cooked to perfection.We will be returning in the future ,that's for sure 😊»
