«Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Don't get me wrong, the property is very nice amd historic and the gardens are well kept. However the main functions that the hotel should provide are more of a 6/10 for me.
The bed was incredibly hard and V-shaped in the middle. Maybe the bed is 500 years old too?
The hotel rented out their facilities for a communion one evening and the loud guests were through the hallsways and outside and the sound carrys very well throughout the hotel so you ...

«This is a great accommodation. Room is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our room was above the Bistro which was great for a glass of wine at the end of the day and coffee and breakfast in the morning. Visit the Brolio Castle for great valley views. Wine tasting at Ricasoli is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Finally Osteria Brolio the on site restaurant is worth trying good food well prepared. Overall very positive experience highly recommend you visit and stay.»

«We stayed in Locanda di Fonterutoli for a full day, arriving early in the afternoon. Mind you, this is a very small place, but with such Toscana-beauty, you may never wanna leave. Situated in a tiny town, the rooms are separated into Condos with separate names for each Condo. These are perfect for larger groups due to the nice common area.
