Ok not as exciting as lions and etc but the birds always interest me and this is a spoon bill stork ( well 90 percent sure) and I thought seeing it was very exciting to see. This was Nov 2017 in Botswana
More big crocodiles. This is called "lying in wait."

Caring, attentive and great location
The lodge is ideally located in central Chobe National Park (preferably access with small plane at Savuti). Great for day safari trip. The GM couple is extremely caring and the staff very attentive to your needs. It's an amazing place. Prefer to go on dry season, as during wet season (Jan-April) ...

Simple campsite with all necessary amenities you need. Excellent location, very close to North Gate. Breakfast is yummy and substantial. Fantastic staff, Salomon was friendly and helpful, and proved to be an excellent guide in the field. Bonus point for the wild dogs behind the campsite!

This red billed hornbill is identical to the one in the new Lion King. It is even sitting authentically on a termite hill which is an every day occurence in Africa. When in Africa, especially the massive parks in Botswana and Namibia, you definitely are outdoors and in the wild. Thank you to #Trovember for prompting me to share.
