1. The Porter Nook! 5 minutes to Indiana Dunes, Pet Friendly

The Porter Nook! 5 minutes to Indiana Dunes, Pet Friendly
Porter
9.4 av 10, Suverent, (10 anmeldelser)
«The property is very clean and modern. Very centrally located for adventures at the dunes. We loved our stay. The host is extremely responsive and assisted with suggestions for dinner. It took us only 5 minutes to drive to the beach area from the property which was amazing. And the host is very kid friendly. The property itself is attached to the back of a business which did throw me off a little but we had zero issue with privacy while staying. And there was zero noise issue from the ...

«The upstairs gets really hot even with the portable/c unit provided 2nd tv room not very useful due to heat. Some items in description not available like personal toiletries left as notes and no travel high chair. Also no gazebo. But a plus is they have beach toys to use and the backyard is huge. Kitchen stocked to cook. The host is also great with communication. Location is PERFECT. Neighborhood is safe and quiet»

«Host offered nice amenities. First night was lovely. Fiddkehead had great food. MC proper is beautiful. It would have otherwise been a very nice trip. Beware: This is a duplex with a top and bottom unit. Our second night was sleepless, with a rowdy party all night even past 4 am. Pounding up and down the floor. Scraping of the heavy metal kitchen chairs along the ceramic tile floor. Loud music. At one point we thought there was a fight. Police were called twice. Beware that there is nothing they ...

«The house was great, plenty of space for our whole family of 8 plus our combined three dogs. The rooms were as they seemed in the listing, and the whole property was very clean and the host responsive. If you intend to cook anything in the oven, you may want to bring along some disposable aluminum cookware. There were plenty of pots and pans for stove-top cooking but not much for baking and roasting.»

«Loved it! Communicating with the host with smooth and simple. There was no puzzle or tricks, just clear and straight forward answers. The place had a welcoming environment and is super clean. Love that there was things nearby that you're able to do, rather than having to drive for so long. My dog also loved the place and didn't have trouble settling down. Overall 10/10»

«Read other reviews, pictures aren’t accurate to the condition of the property. The neighborhood is super sketchy- not walkable. Inside is ok but older. Couch is very uncomfortable and we had a ton of issues getting the TV to work. The owner didn’t have the heat on for us (they control it) and we woke up freezing to a house in the 50s. Outside needs to be refreshed as well. Hot tub was good. Very difficult to get in and out of the gate- it would be impossible with a large truck. Worst thing was ...
