A welcome neighbour to our much loved Nellie's Barn, Roundhill Farm Cottage enjoys the same idyllic location, nestling in the Windrush Valley (The Windrush Way is quite literally on your doorstep).

Beautifully restored and elegantly furnished, this charming former barn enjoys an underfloor heated open-plan living area with a fabulous kitchen leading into the cosy sitting and dining room, complete with a wood burning stove. Stairs lead up to the first floor bedrooms and stunning family bathroom. With a comfy king-size bed in bedroom one, complete with luxurious linens, dual aspect windows and an easy chair and footstool. The stylish bathroom sits between the two bedrooms and features an elegant vanity unit, traditional column radiator and towel rail, along with a large bath and overhead rainfall shower. Bedroom two's cabin bed tucks into a cosy nook and is reached by a small ladder. Perfect for children but equally suitable for willing adults! Those not wishing to climb in can opt instead for the sofa-bed, which, when not in use, creates a sitting area along with a desk for some quiet study or work.

Outside, the lawned garden enjoys rural views which can be admired from the garden furniture, along with a gas barbecue. There are an abundance of walks from the doorstep and guests have access to the beautiful paddock complete with summer house overlooking the large duck pond - ideal for those long summer evenings as the sun sets.

Roundhill Farm Cottage has many green credentials as the barn is powered by photovoltaic panels and heated by a biomass boiler using wood chip from their own trees and there's always a new tree planting programme on the go.

Located in a popular area of the Cotswolds, with Bourton-on-the-Water (known as the Venice of the Cotswolds) just 3 miles away and situated on a peaceful, but working arable farm. All the daily activity of the farm takes place a mile and a half away so the only sounds you'll hear will be birdsong, deer barking and owls hooting. Not only a haven for wildlife, you'll soon feel those workaday worries slipping away and children will delight in exploring the farm in complete safety.

Bring your family horse or pony on holiday! For a small daily charge, Roundhill Farm Cottage can offer a stable and grazing, so you can enjoy endless riding along the bridleways within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Unlimited logs from the farm provided.
Children and an infant welcome. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. Please be mindful of children and infants when the wood burning stove is lit.
If you are wishing to use the sofa bed instead of the cabin bed, please select this during the booking process.
Use of stabling and grazing for your horse or pony is available for £10 per night, this can be added during the booking process.
A secure paddock complete with summer house is also available for guests to use and four-legged friends to wander. Little ones need to be accompanied as there is a pond too - superb for bird watching.
The working farm is approximately 1.5 miles from the property. The owner's house is adjacent, where friendly farm dogs also reside.
