«The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week ...

«Very quiet and quite private, especially as the owners were away. However their lovely friendly cat kept us company. Very good local small supermarket and petrol station within walking distance, also an excellent community cafe (the Market Kitchen). Comfortable bed, and even though the weather was v. hot it was quite cool in the cottage. Plenty of space for two, might have been a bit cramped for a family.»

«The cottage was perfect for our needs and Vicki was a great host. We have a bit of a nervous doggy but Vicki kept her dogs out of the fenced area while we were there so there were no issues there. Loads of beautiful walks in the area, perfect for the doggo! The cottage has a great little kitchen with everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are excellent.»
