We were exhausted from traveling all day. We were unable to sleep because the room was located next to an ice machine and exit doors. When I returned our room keys I was asked about our stay by a woman at the desk. I told her terribly because of the noise! She proceeded to tell me that it was the noisiest room of the hotel. She asked why I accepted that room. I asked her how I was supposed to know that! Then she asked why didn’t we come back to the desk and ask for a different room. We didn’t hear all the noise until we were in bed. Not going to get dressed and pack things to transfer to another room. I will never book a La Quinta Inn again! Person at the desk never apologized. Acted like it was my problem because I didn’t redress and come back to the desk to request another room.
