«We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay at Copperhead. Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy, and the staff, especially Denise, was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the huge, wraparound porch. The Flying Trout had great food and live entertainment. Not mentioned in other reviews is that it is close to an Appalachian Trail access point on Route 19. All in all, a very relaxing mountain hideaway.»

«Excellent beds and air conditioning. Excellent attention from all the staff. There were noisy guests around during the late hours of the night 12am. Breakfast needs to be improved, at least add protein (eggs); and the power outlets failed during the cooking of waffles and bread toaster.»

«We got a room next to the elevator and it was very noisy. The air conditioner kept turning off and we woke in the middle of the night extremely stuffy and warm. It was quite challenging to get a temperature that was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Not too impressed with this hotel.»

«Steps are very dangerous as I didn’t know the bottom landing was so dangerous especially for my mother. Thermostat upstairs wouldn’t come on as it looks like it is not attached properly. The place is beautiful outside but overall not for me. »

«We were in Dahlonega for a wedding and this hotel was wonderful. The rooms were big, the bed was comfortable, and it has a delightful front porch where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the passers by. It is an easy walk to the square, and everything you would want to get to in this quaint little town. They have wine tasting on-site (which we did), and a game room (which we didn't check out). The staff was easily accessible and helpful. The porch kitty, Ghost, was also a delight. ...
