While the hotel is older, there are many amenities available and the staff is accommodating and welcoming to families and sports teams. Multiple convenient dining options available next door and across the street and close to baseball fields and arenas.»

«My daughter and I had a great 3 night stay at The Hotel on Pownal. This is an older hotel that has been updated and modernized. Walking distance to downtown core and restaurants, excellent on-site parking (with electric charging noted), comfortable beds and bedding, and a great breakfast that included a wide selection of gluten free options for my celiac daughter, including a designated space and gluten-free-only toaster. «I stayed for a few days in wintry January. The room (facing Pownal, 3rd floor) was a clean and cozy refuge from the weather. There was a thermostat I could adjust when it was especially cold and windy outside. The staff were all lovely and every morning I enjoyed complementary coffee available downstairs. There are single-use cups available, however, I brought my own thermos which I took to my room and sat back to enjoy the beautiful morning sky from the window. I highly recommend going to ...
