Please be aware that there is ongoing construction near the property. This may result in occasional noise during the day. While we strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we want to ensure full transparency so you are fully informed before booking.
We do have a pet fee of $100/pet! Please note if there are any additional damages, scratches, stains, odors, excess hair on beds, etc., we will charge from the damage deposit in order to clean and replace what is necessary!
We have a hot tub available as an add-on for only $120 for your entire stay!
Why the additional fee? We take great care to provide a clean and relaxing experience for every guest. Before each booking, we completely drain and refill the hot tub with fresh water, thoroughly clean the interior and filters, and carefully monitor the water to ensure it reaches the perfect temperature and balance. This process ensures the highest level of hygiene and comfort for you to enjoy!
For your safety and security, please note that there are cameras located on the exterior of the property. They are positioned to monitor the premises and ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests. Cameras are located on the patio, the front entrance, and looking down the stairs towards the docks. There are NO cameras inside the home.

As our property is located on a beautiful lakeside surrounded by nature, you may encounter various bugs, insects, and other small critters during your stay. This is a natural part of life by the lake, and while we take measures to keep the interior of the home as bug-free as possible, it’s important to remember that we share this environment with local wildlife.
What to Expect:
- Insects: You may notice mosquitoes, ants, spiders, and other common insects, especially in the warmer months.
- Critters: Animals such as squirrels, birds, and occasionally raccoons or other wildlife may be seen around the property.
We encourage you to keep doors and windows closed when not in use and to store food properly to avoid attracting any uninvited guests.

HOUSE RULES:
General Rules:
1. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM, and check-out is anytime before 11:00 AM. Please adhere to these times to allow for proper cleaning and preparation for the next guests.
2. Quiet Hours: Please respect our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
3. No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. A designated smoking area is available outside. If smoking inside the property has been detected, there will be a fine of
4. Pets: No unauthorized pets are allowed. Please ensure all pet fees are paid in advance for each pet. If an unauthorized pet has been detected, we will charge double the pet fee from the security deposit.
5. Toilets: Do not flush anything that does not belong in a toilet. This includes feminine products, paper towels, wet/baby wipes, dental floss, diapers, medication, cooking grease, cotton swabs, food, gum, etc.
Safety:
6. Lake Safety: Swimming is at your own risk. Please supervise children at all times around the lake.
7. Life Jackets: Life jackets are provided and must be worn when using the kayaks, paddleboards, or any other watercraft. Use at your own risk.
8. Fire Safety: No open flames or candles inside the house. Use the outdoor fire pit safely and extinguish it completely after use. NO big fires are allowed.
9. Fishing Regulations: Follow local fishing regulations for NC and SC. Catch and release is encouraged to preserve the lake’s ecosystem.
Property Care:
10. Respect the Wildlife: Please do not feed the wildlife if you see any (like deer or raccoons). Keep a safe distance from animals around the property.
11. Trash Disposal: Dispose of all trash in the designated bins. Do NOT leave trash outside as it attracts animals.
12. Furniture and Décor: Please do not move furniture or take any indoor furniture outside. Use outdoor furniture for lakefront relaxation.
13. Energy Conservation: Please turn off lights when not in use.
14. Hot Tub: Please keep cover of the hot tub on at all times when not in use. This will ensure a regulated temperature for your enjoyment.
15. Hot Tub: DO NOT put anything that does not belong in a hot tub. This includes any kind of soap, colorings, dirt, sand, trash, etc. You will get charged for the additional cleaning required.
Boat and Boat Lift Rules:
16. No Guest Use: The boats on the property are strictly for renting. If guests would like to utilize boats, please contact the host for more details. Please do NOT attempt to operate or board these boats at any time.
17. Boat Lift Safety: Do not touch or tamper with the boat lifts or any related equipment. These are delicate systems that can be easily damaged.
18. Dock Area Caution: Be cautious when near the boats and boat lifts. No swimming, fishing, or diving in the immediate vicinity of the boat lifts.
19. Loading and Unloading: If you need to load or unload personal items from your own watercraft, please use the designated dock areas, keeping clear of the boat lifts.
20. Report Issues: If you notice any issues or concerns with the boats or lifts, please report them immediately. Do not attempt any repairs or adjustments yourself.
Lakefront Usage:
21. Watercraft Use: Use the provided kayaks, paddleboards, and other equipment responsibly. Return them to the designated storage area after use. Use at your own risk.
22. Dock Rules: The dock is for guest use only. No running or rough play on the dock. Use at your own risk.
23. Clean Area: Keep the dock area clean. Remove any personal items after use to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests.
Guest Conduct:
24. Occupancy Limit: Please adhere to the maximum occupancy limit for the property. Unauthorized guests are not permitted.
25. Parties and Events: No parties, events, or large gatherings are allowed.
26. Respect the Neighbors: Be mindful of noise levels and respect the privacy of neighbors and other guests.
