Swing in your private golf-sim shed, sink into the speakeasy, pour a draft at the sunroom bar, screen a movie in the theater room, then take the party outside: sunken hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and gas fire pit under string lights. Sleeps 14 across 4 bedrooms + two pull-outs. Come connect, unplug, and escape the daily grind.



The Space:

THE VIBE



This isn't a place to sleep — it's part of the trip. Escape to the Arts is a boutique designer home: artsy, layered, jewel-toned, with hand-painted murals and a WOW moment behind every door. It was built to do one thing — get your favorite people under one roof and give you a hundred reasons to stay in.



A DAY HERE



Morning coffee at the outdoor kitchen, group photo at the "ESCAPE to the arts" mural. Rounds on the golf sim while the crew runs a game of giant tumbling tower inside. Afternoon soak in the sunken hot tub, cocktails in the sunroom bar. Golden hour in the speakeasy — someone's on the piano, someone's on the karaoke mic. Movie night in the theater with fresh popcorn, then out to the gas fire pit under the string lights. Repeat tomorrow, differently.



THE SPACES YOU'LL FIGHT OVER



• THE GOLF-SIM SHED — your private backyard sim lounge: full-swing simulator with an 11'x18' green and impact screen, two mounted TVs, bar table, mini-fridge, and a neon "For the Love of Art & Golf" sign. Play world-famous courses without leaving the yard.



• THE SPEAKEASY — pressed-tin bronze ceiling, brick, an upright piano, a vinyl turn table for oldies but goodies, a bar rail with stools, and a zebra rug. By night a queen Murphy bed folds down and it becomes the coolest room in Charlotte.



• THE MOVIE THEATER — projector and big screen, popcorn machine, snack shelves, and a live-edge snack counter. A full pull-out turns it into a bedroom; a full bath is right through the door.

• THE BACKYARD — energize your day here with a crisp cold plunge on the multi-level deck ending at the sunken hot tub, outdoor TV, dining for the whole crew, lounge seating under string lights, a pergola-covered outdoor kitchen with built-in grill and bar, and a new gas fire pit ringed with stone benches.

• Master (main level) — king bed, mounted TV, and a workspace nook; full bath steps away.



• Bedroom 2 (main level) — the bunk room: a full-over-full bunk AND a twin bunk (sleeps 6), en-suite full bath, walk-in closet stocked with the game arsenal.



• The Speakeasy (upstairs) — full Murphy bed.



• The Movie Theater (upstairs) — queen pull-out sofa, direct door to the third full bath.



• Living room — king pull-out sofa for two more.



THE FAMILY ALSO WINS



Traveling with kids or the whole family? The bunk room was made for them, the closet holds games for every age (giant tumbling tower, Connect-4, Twister, Magna-Tiles, a train set, kids' books), the theater's popcorn machine makes movie night automatic, and Cordelia Park — with a basketball court and public pools — is two blocks away. It's a safe, walkable, speed-bumped street by an elementary school.

Guest Access:

The entire property is yours — the whole house, both levels, the full backyard, AND the golf-sim shed out back. Speakeasy, theater, sunroom bar, hot tub, cold plunge, outdoor kitchen, gas fire pit, karaoke, games — nothing is roped off.



Check-in is self check-in with smart locks on the front and back doors — your personal code arrives before arrival, so roll in on your own schedule after 4 PM. (Need a 3 PM early check-in? Just ask — we'll accommodate when the calendar allows.) Sim-shed startup and everything else is in your digital guidebook.



Parking: free parking for up to 5 cars in the driveway, plus on-street parking.



The Neighborhood:

Live right where the action is. Escape to the Arts sits in Villa Heights, blocks from Rhino Market & Deli and the breweries, murals, and energy of NoDa — Charlotte's arts district, and the neighborhood that named this house. Optimist Hall food hall and Plaza Midwood's dining strip are about a mile out; Uptown — the stadiums, the arena, the nightlife — is 1.2 miles away; and the light rail is a half-mile stroll straight into the city.



The best part: it's a safe, walkable residential street with speed bumps, right by Cordelia Park (basketball court and public pools, two blocks away). Brewery-hop all afternoon, catch a show, then come home to your own speakeasy, hot tub, cold plunge, and fire pit — the after-party lives at your place.



Getting Around:

Most groups drive in — there's free parking for 5 cars in the driveway plus on-street parking, and Charlotte is an easy road-trip from anywhere in the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia, or Florida. Once you're here, the LYNX Blue Line light rail is a half-mile walk and runs straight into Uptown, and rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is quick and cheap for brewery nights in NoDa or games Uptown — nobody has to drive. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is about a 15–20 minute drive.
