«The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Here are a few little things that would have made it a perfect experience. The breakfast on both days was original and interesting. However, it was supposed to be hot not like warm. Outside of our room by the water station was a tray of dirty cups that was there untouched for three days. It may seem petty but our bathroom had only a single roll of TP that was almost used up. «Most importantly, the cleanliness of the room and the staff were absolutely excellent. We stayed in the Hawthorn North Suite. Room: I would have enjoyed a firmer mattress. My wife had no complaints, but I had to place a pillow under my legs for back comfort. «The Inn was a pleasant place to stay. Not too far from what we wanted to do and see. Take a right from the Inn’s parking lot behind the building and you’ll run right into the NPS visitor center where continuous shuttles run every 15 minutes to the lower part of town. Hard to park there so the shuttle was best for us. The morning breakfast freshly cooked and coffee or tea was perfect to start the day off before the mild to strenuous hilly hikes in old town and by the river. Walk up and down ...
