Had to switch rooms because of a foul odor and then the TV remote didn’t work, I had to get a different remote for the A/C. It was too much confusion and back and forth.

Breakfast was disappointing and the tv in the room never worked. Facility is a bit run down but the pool is open 24/7. Staff were friendly. Despite this and even being put in the wrong room, I’d likely give them another try

My stay at West Palm was the highlight of my stay in Trinidad & Tobago. The staff —every single one of them— were so amazing. They were so helpful and friendly from check in, to during my stay, to checkout. The breakfast was so delicious and well prepared I had to cancel lunch one day because they fed us so much. Amazing chefs! Simply Amazing! I will definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

This hotel should be out-of-business
Honestly I never make any negative review, specially because all business can take a chance to improve their services, however this hotel should be closed now. No cable TV, the AC worked only one night, the next night And couldn’t sleep because of hot weather and defective AC. The breakfast is just like nothing, and all local people I’ve interacted in town made bad comments about the hotel. Do yourself a favor and save some frustration. Find other hotel. Pictures are attached to prove my review. By the way, I think I was the only guest there. Done my prepaid booking online, and no option to cancel. Breakfast served in a super nasty dirty tray . Check pictures.
Better say they don’t have TV …. Horrible picture … not 4K lol.

Not much to say. Property is a bit run down, and the included breakfast was not awesome. The pool was lovely, but did not use as we were busy. Staff is very friendly and welcoming

I have stayed at West Palm twice. The staff at the front desk is nice. But this hotel is the most poorly run dirty dump I have stayed at in a long time. The management / owners don't spend any money on basic upkeep. The place is in shambles, falling apart everywhere. Barely anybody staying there, half deserted. COCKROACHES running around the room all day. Random mix of half broken furniture. Dirty stained sheets. The pool is nice (if clean). The "breakfast" is horrible. The only reason to stay here is it is across the street from Peake if you are working on your boat there. Avoid if you can. Needs a new owner, major investment, and basic competence in how to run a hotel.

Brilliant staff. Disappointed about the rest.
The highligh: staff and their beautiful attitude. I cannot fault them whatsoever. My warm congratulations to them. They were the best of the hotel. Maintenance of hotel: terrible. The owner needs to bring it up to scratch, particularly because the location is a bit dodgy (away from everything) so the hotel and its facilities needs to offer the best but it's far from that. Eco-friendly: terrible. They only use disposable plastic eating utensils. I really disliked that. Provision in the room: kudos for bottles of water on check in but once those are finished, they make you pay for more. We were booked for 4 people and they only supplied 2 bath towels. Once we asked for more, we were given more. No moisturizing cream (disappointing). Bed linen and towels were a bit run down and with small stains. Food: disappointing. Breakfast was greasy. Dinner too expensive (did not try it for that very reason). Wraps tasty but bread too thick and not freshly made.

The room was smelling really bad the doors were old and had holes in them.i was greeted by 2 lizards as i open my door,the ac condensor is right over the entry door an all the water falls on u when passing,the ceiling fan was filled with dust.breakfast was the worst the only good thing was the pool and it was dirty as well.it wasnt a good experience at all.first day there a couple dropped a glass bottle by the pool i had to clean up the glass the next day as there were no ground staff honestly the only thing i enjoyed was the quiet,the refreshing sounds of the birds was nice.

To begin, there was no information about the different levels, and the number of steps it took to get to and from our rooms when we booked the hotel, which as it turned out was at the back of the property. The only good thing about the rooms were the air conditioning and the bathrooms that were nicely tiled, although we had to battle bugs and mosquitoes that came in through the holes in the mesh outside of the little windows. The tv remote did not work, nor did the wifi, so we could not get room service, and had to trek down four levels of stairs, and cross the property to get to the front desk to request assistance. We were transferred to rooms closer to the front of the property the next day, but the view from the balcony was a wall and steps leading up to the pool. Again, there was no wifi service at that level either, and not only did the tv remote not work, which did not matter anyway because TNT was the only channel available, we had to unplug the tv when it was time to sleep. Only one night stand in the room, and no lamp. We had to request an ironing board and iron, as well as fresh towels after two days, as well as put out the trash for pickup. The property owner needs to pay more attention to the details, and the overall upkeep for the property. Too much exposed and broken PVC piping that were an eyesore. There needs to be solar lighting along the pathway leading to the upper levels, so you can see your way at night. As for breakfast! hotdogs are not sausages!

The place is decent overall, some of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms we clean but can do with a little upgrade. However, the price is affordable and it's good for a staycation if you are on a budget.
