«What was unique about this hotel was the total disregard the Owners have for its upkeep, staff, amenities and shabby condition it is and has been for years. They should be ashamed that they own it. Two staff members told me that “they were embarrassed to work there.” Everything from the rooms being dirty, bathrooms disgusting, no hot water, breakfast food was totally inedible, the pool was locked up, the staff would yell across the lobby to each other and were dressed like homeless people.  ...

«Stayed here 5nights while visiting family living nearby. Good size king room, very clean and fantastic staff. The ladies who run the breakfast buffet are great! Housekeeping is awesome. On site laundry on 3rd floor is handy and area was also clean. It’s run remotely by an app you can download to your smartphone. We’d definitely stay here again.»

«The hotel is in a great location. There is a diner and a Starbucks you can walk to easily. The hotel was clean, room was clean and the property was well maintained. If youve stayed at Hampton Inn before you know what kind of breakfast they have. Its decent, filling and free. My only issue was the bed was way too soft. If needed though I would stay here again because of its location.»

«Oheka Castle successfully gives the feeling of staying at a historic castle (which it is). Our room had a very annoying high-frequency/high-pitch noise, but the front desk had no problem with giving us another room. We were given close to none information at check-in - when we went to ask them what was happening at the Castle, we were told here was a fundraiser and was told to stay away form the dining area. When we checked out, a bus arrived for a tour at the castle and the front desk was busy ...

«Pestle good stay at this hotel, can not complain. It is a bit far from New York city center. But you get your train that is 15 min walking away. I recommend renting a car to Hertz Wantagh which is only 200 meters from the hotel, if you are going inwards to the city. The hotel is a bit old, but everything is top of the people working there, we got lots of nice tips and service at what we want to do the 12 days we were there.»

«I wouldn’t recommend this lodging and definitely would not stay here again. Front desk staff was not at all helpful during check in, he gave me the impression he did not want to be working there. One morning I called the front desk for dishwashing soap, waited 1 hour before I called again because it never came.
