«It's a basic room in an older hotel at the very end of Kings Canyon. You are getting Location and several extra hours of Not driving to the Park. I used it for a Rae Lakes Loop Hike. 1 day before and 1 day after the Hike. I would do it all over again... Small Breakfast Counter with a Burrito that was delish. Small Store with Gifts and a Good Supply of Stuff to Eat and Drink. You are right on the Kings River as you see in the Pic.»

«The over all stay was decent and staff was “invisible” in a good way. Available if needed but not underfoot. We were far enough off the main highway that it was very quiet. Lots of trees and shade.
The thing that destroyed our stay was the fact that there are NO CHAIRS or a couch. Nothing to sit on with any back support. We resorted to bringing in our lawn chairs we were using on the beach. There was no table of any kind either. They had two small bookcase type stands and two backless ...

«Quirky and quiet. Check-in was easy and quick. Solid AC that had the room perfectly cooled down in 20 minutes. Solid TV lineup. A quick 10-minute car ride from our favorite breakfast place in Redding, LuLu’s. Loved it!»

«Was clean & well kept. Not much in the way of amenities but has everything you need. If you're claustrophobic, select a different room (than 3), the shower it about the size of a phone booth (for anyone who knows what that is) and quite dark.
The room was comfortable and decorated nicely. Check in & access was very convenient.
Directly across the street from the river, beautiful. And there is a general/convenience store that is open late in walking distance, it has just about anything ...
