The cabin was very welcoming, had what we needed, and had the peace that was very welcomed during this difficult time. We were close to events and family in Solon, but had a quiet, peaceful place to let down. The lake was a short walk from the property, with a convenient trail for walking, running, and enjoying nature.»

«When you walk in the door the first word is “wow”! It’s really nice, clean and cozy. It’s like being home. The refrigerator, freezer and cupboards were stocked with food, drinks and snacks! My bf and I just kept saying wow! The super sweet host did not forget about pets with treats, bowls, etc! My dog made herself at home too! We came from Wisconsin and will definitely stay there again!»

«What a wonderful property! If you love to fish, this is the place for you. We caught tons of fish during our stay. Nice bluegills, enormous bass and even a catfish. The sights and sounds of nature were amazing. The cabin was homey and large enough for my family of five. The shuffleboard table and poker table were our entertainment after the long day of fishing. Just an all around pleasant experience!»

«This house was such a pleasant surprise!! We were in town for surgery of a family member and its convenience to the hospital was perfect. The space allowed us to come and go at the hospital and was great for me to get some work done in between. Comfortable beds and all the amenities of home.»

«We had a lovely stay at the house. It works nicely for meditation retreats or bigger groups of adults getting together for a reunion. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and it was a very relaxing weekend. There was a bit too much chlorine in the hot tub, and it caused some skin issues for us, but the host said he would test the levels and take care of it for the next guest.»

«We appreciated the spaciousness and location of the property. The kitchen is very functional and the induction cooktop is terrific. The online photos showed a kitchen table that seats 6, but actually only had 4 chairs. Otherwise there were few surprises. All in all the stay was very pleasant.»

«It was in a great location and beautiful. We were in Cedar Rapids for a gymnastics meet at Alliant Convention Center. It was a quick drive there. We would have walked if the weather was better. Great city with lots of great local restaurants and stores.»
