«It was exactly what we were looking for. A country pub with B&B. Arrived to a warm welcome, good beer and nice dinner. Room was extremely comfortable and breakfast was exactly what you want and would expect. Thoroughly recommend - even if it is a bit off the beaten track - which is why we chose it.»

«The accommodation is lovely, it’s in its own little courtyard, which is accessed via the pub, which is a friendly establishment. The only downside is that in common with a lot of Ludlow, the kitchen closed at 7.30, which meant I bought a takeaway from the Chinese round the corner and they missed out on a food and drink order.»

«We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious.»

«Friendliest people work at this Inn.we were made to feel valued and welcome. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We arrived early so we could spend the afternoon in Worcester. They called us a taxi and allowed us to park our cars there even though we hadn’t checked in. The rooms we had booked were basic, but comfortable, in an attached annexe not in the Inn itself. «Valgt stedet for å være "langt borte" og det var det og stedet leverte. Frokosten var absolutt i topp-klasse for en eks-britt som lever nå i Norge. Stedet var også valgt for utvalg av engesk øl, og stedet leverte der også. Eneste minus var romplassering. Vi fikk et rom som delte vegg med toalettene hvor det høres ut som om håndtørke er montert, dermed var det lyd derfra inntil puben stengt. OK det. Verre var hvor lytt det var mellom rommet vårt og naborommet forårsaket av en tynn dør i mellom ...

«We enjoyed a good stay at the hotel. It was well situated for our trip to Malvern Spring Flower Show. The staff were lovely and the food was good pub food. We particularly enjoyed the steak night which was excellent. Breakfasts were tailored to us individually, were well cooked and good sized portions. We will definitely stay here again. »

«This old coaching inn has been well revamped, service is first class. The food was excellent with good response to individual needs. Although pricey the rooms were up to a high standard. The roll top bath, with no screen, was a triumph of design over functionality. There was nowhere to put the soap! Having a shower without flooding the floor was tricky. «The location is convenient for occasional visits to family members living nearby. Dinner was very good, and I was fortunate not to have to pre-book. On the downside, my car suffered damage (probably from an inconsiderate parker) during my visit, not noted until I had left, so I cannot be entirely sure where it occurred. However, parking bays are not marked. Of course one can't be confident that a poor parker will be honest about any damage, but it leaves an unpleasant taste.»

«The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent! »

«Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area.
