«Breakfast was spotty but the service was great, unobtrusive. Location was a bit of a hike to the hill but quietly away from the esplanade. Nice patio on the third floor to take in the view. »

«Amazing central location, staff was super polite and helpful, the bikes for riding around were great, and the room was nice and cozy. Exactly what to expect on an island vacation, I see other reviews that are a little more particular, and just laugh because they don’t seem like people that are comfortable living the chill Island life and expect everything to be five stars all day. «I stayed at Hotel Mac Rae between Christmas and New Years, the weather was not the best because of some storms, but the stay was great. I stayed in one of the rooms with the view of the beach and boardwalk. The room was nice (it’s an older hotel but it was nice to have a built-in closet with nice size drawers. «My friends and I were there for a race and had to check out very early. The staff was super helpful and accommodating getting our bags stored for us and delivering them to the ferry later. I haven’t experienced such excellent customer service in quite sometime and it was very refreshing to know that still exists! »
