«A wonderful gem to find last minute. Better than expected, as I appreciated how close I would be to the front street but I was pleasantly surprised at the value of the room even though the price was lower than other hotels. I was in rm 212.
It was clean and a great size. The bathroom had a lovely skylight too. I liked that my particular window looked into a wall because then I could keep it open for light without passerbys seeing in.

«The view was very nice. A gull visited often, so make sure the sliding door is shut. The sliding door still sticks, so close it slowly. The bed is very comfy. It is an old building that is kind of shabby, but still clean and well kept. »

«I had an excellent stay from start to finish. The service was truly outstanding—staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The cleanliness of the property was top-notch, with every area well-maintained and spotless. It made the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. «Pros and cons of staying at this hotel:
Pros:
-close to everything! The beach, restaurants, nightlife, etc.
-ocean views were great
-twin bed in the room was very comfy
-suite has a kitchen (which came in handy for us)
Cons:
-has an old smell to it in the room
- towels were cheap material
-mini split was broken so they had a loud portable a/c unit in the room
-main bed was very uncomfortable (literally felt like we were sleeping on bed springs)
-small cable tv, so we had to watch Netflix ...

«Loved the value and the location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to the boat dock and everything you need. It's only 1 block from the only grocery store on the island, Von's! The room was small but cute & next door to the oldest house on the island.
The area feels very safe and has a historic vibe. We enjoyed thoroughly.»
