Perfekt beliggenhet uansett vær.
Værmeldingen var ikke den beste, så vi søkte etter et hotell med spa fasiliteter. Vi endte opp her, noe som viste seg å være et godt valg. Beliggenheten er perfekt når målet er å slappe av eller å spille golf. Ligger på golfbanen og like ved stranden. Vi bodde her to netter og fikk brukt både bassenget og saunaen. Vi fikk også massasje. Vi var heldige som fikk massasje, så det bør bestilles på forhånd. Gode turmuligheter i området. Rommet var kjempefint.

Flott sted
Fint hotell i et rolig område, bortsett fra at det var endel støy fra nedriggingen etter en INT golfturnering. Maten var god, senga komfortabel og personalet var veldig hyggelig og oppmerksomme!

Bar was closed due to private function - would have been good to know before booking. Not a huge issue as the hotel organised a list of good bars and restaurants in the area with map and contact numbers. Would stay here again - room was beautiful, staff were lovely and breakfast was really good

Very clean well ran hotel, our family room was spacious , comfortable with everything we required The staff were all very helpful and friendly especially with my 4 year old granddaughter who had an exceptional stay

Stayed 2 nights and played golf at the Carnoustie Golf Course. Very conveniently located and super friendly front desk staffs. Enjoyed swimming pool and sauna

Great location for golf course. Hotel overlooks 1st / 18th. If you are golfing at Carnoustie this is the place to stay.

First stay at this hotel and although some parts of hotel requiring updating found the bed really comfortable, great shower and the most fantastic welcome from the receptionist who I think was called Inga. Great location and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel. We were a little surprised at the wear of the wood furniture and fading of some of the artwork to be Carnoustie. The sitting room area could use a coffee table so one could sit comfortably with a drink.

Nice room with a great view. The French doors wouldn’t shut properly which resulted in a constant draught. This was fine with the curtains shut. Good, comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast. Pool area was ok. Carnoustie village itself is a bit run down, but has some great restaurants and the beaches round about are fantastic

Thank your for your feedback! Sorry to hear that there was a draft coming from french doors, we are waiting on replacent for some of the french doors and windows in this spring. Hopefully, this will not hold you back for return visit in the future.

Had a lovely DBB here in a deluxe double overlooking the golf course ( which we think is so much nicer than the sea view here ) if coming again I would book food in the Rookery, went there for cocktails and it was a lovely place sit with that view.

Needs refurbishing
The staff are all lovely and helpful. The breakfast could not be faulted. But this isn't a 4 star hotel. It really doesn't tick the boxes for a 4 star hotel. The room was not as clean as we would have expected. There is damaged furniture, broken tiles in the bathroom (4 types of tile and none of them go together), black hairs on the bathroom door hinges, mouldy silicone, the shower screen deflector strip was spilt and bits on the carpets. Carpets throughout the hotel are old and stained. The room could definitely do to be refurbished. The gym equipment was in need of cleaning and the pool showers need modernised. Broken tiles, puddles, blown timbers, and rusty patches could been scene around the changing rooms and pool areas. The hotel certainly did not have the 4 star wow factor.

Another stay
This is the third stay here, but compared to the previous stay this was disappointing. Throughout the hotel there needs to be a deep clean and a paint job ( outside as well) The quality of food and service has declined quite considerably, overall we came away disappointed.

We are sorry we have let you down this time. We are working hard to improve hotel facilties and hopefully soon we will have some great improvements implemented within hotel. We hope this will not put you off to return to the hotel.

Was a little disappointed, service at our meal wasn’t great, we sat with empty drinks for half an hour. Upgraded room to a suite but again disappointed with the room.

We were checked in on arrival by a friendly receptionist who was professional and helpful. The hotel was spacious with an amazing view of the golf course. The food in the restaurant was very nice. Congratulations to all the staff who worked hard to make our 2 night stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price.
All staff very friendly. Great standard of cleanliness. Some things showing signs of general wear and tear...desk in room, cubicles in pool/spa changing rooms. Pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi all very good. Excellent tea/coffee trays in room. Good rainfall shower with plenty hot water. Drinks and food reasonably priced.Only complaint is lighting in the room...3 table lamps only giving a very dull glow...impossible to sit and read a book after dark. Very well situated for walks and visits to Dundee, Arbroath, St Andrews, Monifieth and more.

Wonderful hotel
This is the third time we've stayed here and once again it didn't disappoint. Nice and friendly at check in and then up to our suite with a great view from the balcony onto the 1st tee and 18th green on the Carnoustie championship course. We went down to the swimming pool later in the evening and were welcomed by a very friendly girl who used to train in fencing near us. The sword type rather than the garden variety. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic once again with the staff cheery and attentive. We will definitely be back for a forth time soon enough.
