«Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.»

«This is a lovely old pub in the middle of Warwick on Eden. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was cosy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed one night as we were heading to Scotland. We had a lovely evening meal, which I had pre booked. We had the flat iron steak which was cooked to perfection. Breakfast the following morning was equally as good, and freshly cooked to order.»

«Clean room. Few spider webs but it is an old property. I personally found bed very soft and uncomfortable. Felt the place was run to suit the staff more than the customer. Food was okay. Had dinner and breakfast. If I’m in the area again it’s not somewhere I’d choose to stay.»

«Good central location for overnight stop in Penrith with parking. Decent size room, reasonably clean and quiet. Stair carpet filthy though needs replacement. Tea and coffee sachets not replenished, tollet roll holder hanging off wall.»

«Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10»
