Cape Palliser Lighthouse was built in 1897. The climb to the top features 250 steps and overlooks the southernmost point of the North Island of Aotearoa (New Zealand). The area is surrounded by dramatic landscapes, Maori legends, and the islands’ largest fur seal colony. #History
