The Good: Beautiful villa, perfect canal location for spectacular Florida sunsets!The Bad: No property maintenance. Our main issue was the pool (the constantly running toilets & sliding door that fell on me get honourable mention). The water was murky, like the ocean, and since we have never experienced a saltwater pool we didn't initially realize it was a problem. We all jumped in, and to our surprise hair balls and debris floated to the top. It was disgusting! Our 7 year old developed a painful blister on a bite within a few hours, we had to go to a walk-in clinic. We tried to use the villa’s emergency contact number but it is only for text based communication and they reply only after several hours. After 1.5 days they sent out a pool service tech, he replaced the filter motor, but did not clean the pool as that is “not in his contract”. So we find a pool guy (that we paid ourselves) to come clean the pool. It turned out that the pool had not been properly serviced in months. His assessment…“When I proceeded to check out the pool I noticed it was full of hair on the bottom and top the pool was super cloudy and there was no water flow in pool, I checked the filter and it was full of hair dirt and grime. I don't believe this filter has been cleaned in at least 6 months, it took me 40 minutes to clean the filter.I have included photos of the pool, the truth is they don't do justice to how disgusting it was. So, It may look like paradise, but don’t be fooled!!

This house was perfect for our Girl's Trip and the ladies kept telling me so. We even canceled two of our planned out events to stay in. Communication via text when we had a mix up at check in was quick and efficient. It was my job to be sure we had enough room to eat together and enjoy a girl's night in.....the dining room did not disappoint. Having the kayaks and life vests available was definitely a bonus! Several of the ladies had never kayaked and enjoyed the opportunity to do so in a calm, safe setting. A day trip to Sanibel turned out perfect without us having to pay Sanibel prices. The neighborhood is peaceful and the neighbors we met gracious.

The water pump was clogged when we arrived, so was obnoxiously loud. Didn’t take care of it until multiple messages and neighbors complaining about the noise of the pump. Not enough towels where they should be and overall cleanliness of the home was under par for its rates. Beautiful area though.

Ruined our family vacation

This has been the worse experience we’ve ever had renting a vacation home. As soon as you walk in, there’s a big area rug , the rug smells like dog urine. The odor was so strong that we had to walk around covering our nose . The bathtub was full of small black hair and other nasty stuff. The beds were full of dog hair and so was the dining table . The fridge is rusted , the sofa is extremely old we didn’t even want to sit on it, the walls are dirty as well . The home looks abandon inside . The outside is beautiful but the pool also had dog hair in it looked like no one re cleaned . Prior to us arriving we asked if it was ok to arrive an hour earlier and we were told no because they were still cleaning the property but once we arrive the property was nowhere disinfected. The bedding was not washed . We waited a year for our family vacation just to end up going back home that same morning. Two people were sent to re clean the property . They did not speak English and all they did was spray the tub and spray fabreeze around the home . The cleaners admitted that the property was not in good condition for us and the children. The towels also had stains on them . We are extremely disappointed please be cautious when booking this property. The website photos look nothing like it.

A little misleading

We came down to Cape Coral for a little get away from st Augustine, and saw this rental and jumped on it right away! When we got there we were amazed by all the space and the beautiful view but when we started taking a closer look we noticed it wasn’t what we thought we were getting. The paint in the pool was chipping very badly so when we were swimming there were a whole bunch of paint chips floating everywhere. The pool is advertised as a saltwater pool, but it had a chlorine floater. There was live bait left in the freezer which stunk up the house when you opened it. The beds were nice and the rooms were big and slept a lot of people. The downstairs shower was nasty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while but the upstairs shower was nice and big! The communication with the host could have been better, I had to ask 4 different times if they had beach chairs available and it took 2 days to get a non automated response. The kitchen was okay, it was stocked with anything you could’ve needed from bowls to plates to pots and pans, it was just dirty. The dishwasher seal had come off when we opened it so we had to be careful when using it. The dock was gorgeous and the beds were very comfortable. If they cleaned this place up a bit we would definitely come back!

Great Family Vacation

This pet friendly property was amazing for our family that included 2 couples and 5 children. Our younger children (7-12) enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock all morning, afternoon and night. Nice place for adult family weekend

This was a nice, roomy place for us to host our adult children. We enjoyed the pool and the view. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the charging stations. Would have given 5 stars but felt the furniture on the lanai was worn out and uncomfortable and the grill only had 2 burners that worked when we tried to cook our dinner. That was a bit of a bummer.

Perfect family getaway

The house was large enough for 9 of us plus our dog. Pool was perfectly warmed. I stayed in just floating around for 2 hours. Spent most of our time in the lanai and kitchen. They had everything we needed and then some. Communication with managers/owners were great. We didn't have any issues, but they reached out a couple of times during our stay. Quite neighborhood. Beautiful views from the lanai/pool area. Thanks for hosting us!

Great home with plenty of room

The house was roomy and comfortable for 7 of us. The view was gorgeous. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We would have loved more seating in the living area and the water in the downstairs shower was barely hot enough to shower. Communication however was very sporadic and inconsistent with the hosts.

Wonderful property

This property was exactly what was stated in the listing. The pictures are accurate and up to date. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous and it's located in a prime location. The only thing negative I will say is that you can tell it's a rental. The refrigerator bottom freezer handle is broken and missing. Some of the dresser drawers are broken. There are a few other items that I noticed but none affected our stay enough to not give it 5 stars.

Summer Vacation 2024

When searching for a place for our summer vacation, we had specific needs for our family and two dogs. This beautiful home in Cape Coral met them all perfectly! The sunsets from the pool were breathtaking, even better than the pictures. The first-floor bathroom, equipped with both a tub/shower combo and a stand-up shower, was a game-changer for our two teenage daughters who love taking long showers. My husband and I didn't have to wait long, as they could shower simultaneously - a real lifesaver! We spent most of our time in the pool, both day and night. The check-in process was simple and easy, and Tyson was fantastic to work with, promptly answering all my questions. Overall, our vacation was wonderful, and this house made all the difference. Thank you!

Paradise

Hey guys the pictures dont do this beautiful home justice. We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday there. All we could say was wow. A truly stocked kitchen with everything a home should have. Clean rooms with plenty of space. The master has a lovely view of sunsets or just sitting and reading a good book. The pool was perfectly heated upon our arrival. The boat dock was adequate for our 24 foot boat and had ample space for 4 jetskies. We had a lovely time in the house on the water and just plain ol relaxing and destressing... nice neighborhood and marinas close by. If you have a boat or skis bring them. My son caught his first fish off their pier. Good memories. Plenty of islands and restaurants near by to eat and explore. All in all a 5 star rating.

Stunning view

We had an amazing family trip with our adult children, their SO's, and 2 small grandkids. The pool was a hit and everyone loved the house. The space was perfect for our group, with lots of room. The place was very clean and the views were amazing. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and tied off to the dock located right on the property. The kids enjoyed fishing in the canal right off the dock in the backyard. But the view was the best, especially from the pool/deck area. It was spectacular, we watched the sunset every night of our stay. The host was easy to get ahold of if needed and the neighborhood was clean and quiet. The girls and I went for a walk every morning. We will definitely book this property again when we return to Cape Coral. Thank you!
