«The property was run down. Not clean. Staff did not appear trained. There was a strong odor in the entry way. Our Tv and bed lamp did not work. We tried to call for assistance and no one called back. The entire place needs an update. Expedia should vet properties better. It was NOT what it advertised.»

«The rooms were quaint and clean, and the views were great, staff was good. However, if one is looking for a glorified bed and breakfast then this is the place. It was a little too noisy for me. I prefer to have a bistro or bar in my place of stay, but others may like the ambiance.»

«To label this location a B&B is misleading. The room itself was "moderate level motel" quality - nothing that would normally be associated with B&B. The "breakfast" was a refrigerated tray of prepackaged B&B and certainly not worthy of the cost.»

«We thought Tim, the owner was great! All contact with staff was efficient and helpful. There is a large community space that we enjoyed. The breakfast was not what we loved. The private space was large and the separate tub and shower with double sinks was great. The room was bright. It is a bit of a work in progress but in the end it worked very well. »

«My wife and I had our wedding nearby and stayed at Elkside Hideout for the week.The place lives up to its name -- the day we arrived we saw 2 elk in the neighbourhood and the day we left we saw a herd of over 12. It was stunning. It was a beautiful space, amazing spa setup, and the surroundings were beautiful. We had a small ceremony nearby but had the small group (8 in total) over for celebrating and it was comfortable for everyone. We also had our pups with us, which made it really special. ...

«It was close to town. Lots of extras in room rarely seen in other b&bs. AC would have been nice but being in mountains with window open at night cooled the room very quickly. Really enjoyed our stay. Would come back again.»
