Vandrerhjem i Calzada de Amador-øyene

"Veldig hyggelig hotell med sentral beliggenhet i Panama. Kjempehyggelig personale. Litt lite bassengområde, særlig når det var masse folk der. Dessverre ingen parasoller ved solsengene. Også dumt at det var et stort trinn ut til bassengområdet, særlig når hotellet ellers var ok tilrettelagt for rullestoler. Veldig bra frokost, men kaoset når det var masse folk. "

"Rommet er stort og flott. To smale queen senger med harde madrasser. Putene var også harde. Luksus sengetøyet og dundynene så vi ikke noe til. Ordinære laken med fleece teppe i mellom. Hadde ikke internett på rommet før siste kveld. De sjekket søpla på rommet så vi ble beskyldt for å røke på rommet og skulle få bot på 350 $ pr natt fordi jeg hadde kastet en snip i søpla. Vi tok det opp i resepsjon, de godtok det, men fikk beskjed om og ikke kaste tobakksrelaterte ting i søpla på rommet. Vannet i bassenget er iskaldt. Møblene i bassengområdet var så som så. "

"Huge hotel, we stayed in one of the suites. OK value for money, but the hotel has no personality, is quite outdated and rough around the edges. I would not say that this is a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately we got food poisoning after eating in the hotel café on the ground floor right after we checked in. After that, we spent 48 hours inside our room, too sick to leave. We notified the staff several times about our situation, but they seemed unbothered about the fact that their food had made us really sick. In general, the hotel staff were quite unfriendly during our staff, including the interactions with room service employees to the receptionists and bell boys. When we checked out, the only thing our receptionist said to us was "That's it". That pretty much sums up the level of friendliness at this hotel. There are plenty of good 5 star hotels in Panama city with great customer service. For example Bristol, where we also stayed during the same trip. Would not recommend staying at Riu Plaza."

"Extremly comfortable beds and room. Many people complain about lacking towels, and so do we, there were just 1 handtowel on the bathroom when we checked in. Had to ask twice. Slow chekin. Quick response when we told our doorlock wasnt working properly (bump the locked door and it opened). Fixed after 30 min. Breakfast had several options but lack basic things. You have to enjoy taking taxis, it is NOT easy to be a pededtrian here. Found no resturants nearby easy to walk to. Hotelresturant is brand new and has potensial. "

"We stayed at Dreams Playa Bonita for 10 nights. All over we loved our time at the hotel. A Special thanks to Eric at the preferred bar at the pool. His service and skills to make good drinks is incredible. one thing we were a little disappointed with was the food. It could have been better."
