«The property is very clean, comfortable and peaceful with all necessary facilities. The breakfast menu was excellent. The restaurant served good food from a slightly limited menu at very reasonable prices. We would certainly stay again if we are in the area. One small improvement could be made to the en-suite shower by fitting a grab handle and or a non slip mat.»

«Stayed just the one night and very happy. Clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast in the morning. A little out of the way, so car is a must. We stayed in the Willow room which had a lovely view out onto the garden. Only had minor niggles, bed was a double, not a king which I am used to (but double was in booking info). Doors are creaky and door catch noisy, so a quiet toilet visit in the night is difficult. Would definitely stay again if in the area.»

There was something of interest with an antique shop in the yard too ..not for someone looking for a modern hotel though walking distance to a nice village pub with good food ..highly recommend this place »

Only point that needs to be looked at is, on Hotels.com all rooms are on-suite but my room had a bathroom down the stairs, albeit a very nice bathroom. I booked on suite and expected on Suite. Apart from that it’s 10/10 from me. I would stay again. »

«Amazing what you can fit into a small space! Microwave and toaster are good for basic self catering, though we were glad that we had brought containers to cook in and our normal camping plates and cutlery. Location is very good, quiet and private, but with plenty to explore in the nearby area.»

«This is a magical place. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well-equipped and the homemade brownies were very welcome. The orchard setting is a beautifully secluded retreat from city life and we would happily come back here again (for a third visit!)»
