The home is an old home with some of the quirks of an old home like very low water pressure (one shower at a time) and some challenging lighting in the kitchen and cooling in main bedroom. No closet in the main bedroom, but lots of closets in the other bedrooms. The owners have updated the house very nicely and everything was comfortable and very clean. «The property owners were incredible, prompt, and helpful. The property is very clean and roomy. A definite off the beat and path area perfect for family time. HOWEVER!! We arrived, dropped our items off, checked out the space, then headed to the marina/beach area. Once we arrived we received an urgent phone call and had to immediately grab our items and return home. This was a very expensive 10 min stay.»

«During the stay there was a terrible storm that knocked out the power in the house. The host stayed in communication with me as well as the electric company to keep me updated. The host was very understanding if we had decided to leave because of the electricity. We decided to stay and wait it out. «We had a great time at the resort and exploring Kentucky/Tennessee. There was 3 pools in the area so my kids got to go to a different one every night! Roasted hotdogs and s’mores almost every night, and relaxed in the hot tub. At first the resort seemed tricky navigating though the curving hills to get to it, but we figured it all very quickly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great getaway!»
