From the moment I arrived until we left nothing was too much trouble. I was helped booking restaurants, breakfast cooked fresh every morning, well looked after.

Lovely, but very expensive.
Lovely hotel right next to the beach. Room was small but very clean. Breakfast was very good and covid secure guidlines in place. Although not all customers were wearing masks in communal areas. This hotel was very expensive for what it is, and we didnt realise the restaurant was closed.

Nice welcome from receptionist. Clean and comfortable room. Big disappointment was breakfast which was cold and not very good quality. Very poor considering the cost of the hotel and the restaurant not busy.

Great location, lovely views, delicious breakfast
The location of this hotel is perfect for a few nights relaxation on the coast. We were lucky enough to get a beach view, which had an armchair situated for those lazy mornings watching the tide, however a close friend had a room at the back which was small cramped and hot. Although covid meant service was different to normal, nothing was ever too much and the food was great quality.

Great 3 night break after lockdown for couple
Hotel is in a great location overlooking Summerleaze Beach, great views from the bar / restaurant terrace - short walk down to the beach or into centre of Bude. Very friendly staff at the hotel made us feel very welcome during our stay. They were still turning things around after lockdown (restaurant not open for dinner) but worked great as a B&B service with bar open for drinks all day. Reception were very helpful on our last day and allowed us to extend use of our room after original check-out for a shower after final surf session. Beds are very comfortable and black-out curtains + shutters allow to a really good night's sleep

Rooms too hot, no aircon
The hotel is very nice, but the room (10) was extremely hot 28^C even though it was only 18 outside, no aircon in rooms. Imaging what it is like on a hot day. Reception staff said this was the case in all rooms. Only 4 parking bays. Overall value for money not worth it.

Lovely staff and fantastic food . Unfortunately let down by our room .room 18 is a loft room very small with sloping eves . If you are over 5’10 you will spend your stay when getting out of bed ,using the bathroom sink or using the toilet bumping your head ! Also it only has a 2ft square window looking on to a brick wall . At £145 per night very poor value for money .

This place is stunning, clean, fresh, airy, excellent facilities. Unfortunately we were in a room that meant we could hear an extractor fan running all night, possibly from the neighbouring bedroom as the staff say their air con is switched off overnight? Who knows. Very interrupted sleep, left feeling tired. A shame because everything else was perfect!

Absolutely superb hotel, everything is top class. Super friendly welcome at check in, amazing room, 5 star restaurant, great vibe in bar and excellent location. Recommended by a local who told me it was best hotel in Bude - he wasn't wrong!

Staff couldn't have been kinder
Whether it was calling around to find a dinner reservation or helping us with bags, staff were very helpful and willing. \room and shower were super comfortable and breakfast was good.We had an enjoyable time here. The only negative I will say is that in spite of the name of the hotel, it is not on the beach, and in fact faces a parking lot. though we could see the beach and sea from the windows of our Superior room

Fantastisch gelegenes Hotel mit Meerblick. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich mit überaus freundlichem Personal. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder buchen - allerdings nur Zimmer mit Meerblick (die anderen Zimmer schauen zum Hinterhof). Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, da es uns zu teuer war. Stattdessen haben wir im Ort nur wenig Gehminuten vom Hotel gut und günstig gegessen. Das Hotel ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert!

Stayed for just one night. Great view from the hotel. I paid the extra to have a Superior room,and we where very impressed with it. Large room and Bathroom, and very clean. The food it the restaurant was superb. The only small negative point is that there is very limited parking. We will hopefully be returning very soon. Great hotel.

Modern clean hotel/B&B
Stayed for a long weekend , lovely location with views of the sea. We had a deluxe room on the 1st floor with a big terrace and big modern bathroom. Everything very clean, friendly staff and great breakfasts, will come again despite the pricey cost.

Pure Luxury
The Beach at Bude is a very friendly, very clean and very well kept establishment. We felt completely welcome from the moment we checked in and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The rooms were immaculate and they had put a lot of thought into both the decor and the facilities offered. We particularly liked the fridges in the room and the en suites were stylish and very clean. The shower was amazing. Normally you can't wait to have a decent shower when you get home, but we wanted to take theirs home :-) This is a 5 star b&b and comes highly recommended.

We had a nice welcome. We were very impressed with the standard of decor in the room. Wonderful view of the beach, comfortable bed, stunning bathroom, lovely breakfast, nice Lloyd Loom furniture.

Super engagiertes Personal. Sehr schöne Lage. Nicht ganz billig, aber sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Verbesserungspotenzial: gelegentlich die neuen Möbel abstauben und die auf den Boden gelegten Handtücher austauschen.
