Tucked away in serene Cornish farmland, this cosy cabin offers a tranquil retreat, surrounded by untouched landscapes and close to fine golden beaches. Just 1.5 miles from Bude, it’s ideal for anyone seeking to ride Cornwall’s famous waves. Bude is a mecca for surfers of all abilities, with reliable waves and stunning sands that bring visitors year-on-year. Surf schools and equipment hire are also available. Beyond the beach, keen walkers can ramble the South West Coast Path, while food enthusiasts can sample some of the delicious seafood Bude has to offer. Further afield, Widemouth Beach (4 miles) also has fantastic surfing opportunities. Those seeking history, Tintagel (17 miles) offers legendary tales and myths to explore, while the village of Boscastle is peppered with charming stone cottages linked to witchcraft and smuggling.

Inside, this single-storey surfing pod combines spacious open-plan design with a curved, cosy appeal. Underfloor heating and high insulation ensure you'll stay toasty regardless of the season, while the large glass front can be opened up on balmy evenings. There are essential appliances like the fridge, kettle and air fryer. There’s a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress, plus a bean bag futon and a camp bed for the kids. The wet-room outhouse with shower and flushing WC is located next to the pod.

Out on the decking, soak in the summer sun while getting snuggly in the giant beanbags. Use the on-site shell studio, or watch the kids run around on the play equipment, before striking up the BBQ to enjoy a flame-grilled feast with all your troops. Parking is private and suits one car.

- Fire pits available for up to 8 people on each - £10 charge for logs

- On-site shell studio: sessions are up to 2 hours long, and items can be made from £5
