Meget fint hotell med god vennlig service. Plassert sentralt i sentrum med grei avstand til alt. Gaten hotellet ligger i kan være litt støyende på kvelden men hotellet er godt lydisolert og støyen merkes ikke innendørs. Kan absolutt anbefales.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of April. The hotel and staff were lovely. I would highly recommend the hotel and we would stay again. The hotel is on a busy street in Budapest but our rooms were at the back of the hotel and on floors 5 & 6 so we heard no noise. We had two Junior Suites. The rooms were big and had everything you needed. The complimentary toiletries were not refreshed during our stay once used but I am sure if we had asked they would have given us what we needed. There is also no towel rail but our towels dried fine. We booked the Hop On/Hop Off bus and a night cruise with the hotel. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely. There was loads of choice and you could ask for different eggs or an omelette from the staff. We wasn’t told this, I just spotted someone with an omelette, so worth knowing. The food was all fresh and there were loads of choice. The only thing missing for us was semi skimmed or skimmed milk… the only choices were full fat or alternatives such as oat milk. It just meant that we didn’t have the cereal options. Again, something to consider. The only disappointment for us was that the rooftop bar was closed for the duration of our stay. The reason was due to the weather and a problem we believe. It was sunny and not windy when we visited so I’m not sure if the weather issue was another factor. It wasn’t a deal breaker just disappointing. You won’t regret booking this hotel for your stay.

Had a great stay in Budapest at the Barcelo hotel. Perfect location close to bars and restaurants and 5 min to hop on any public transport. Bed and pillows were the best in recent memory. Shower was big and awsome. Breakfast was good. Will definitely return and look for other Barcelo hotels in the future.

Great hotel. Would recommend and would use again
Great hotel. Very clean. Spacious room. Lovely staff. Breakfast was excellent. Noon check helped a lot. Rooms are air conditioned but during winter it only allows the room to go down to 21C or thereabouts which was way too hot for us. The staff came up and opened the window fully for us which made it a lot more comfortable Great location, in a central location to the city sights. Very quite room even with a fully open window although we were towards the rear of the building. Take the 100E bus from the airport to the stop that is 5 minutes walk from the hotel Couldn't be easier...

Great hotel. Only downside would be no radiators to dry towels (in our room at least). However, the frequent housekeeping service mitigated this during our stay. So we never had to use damp towels.
