«Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area.»

«The room was small you had to close the door to get past the bed and there was no remote for the TV. but it was clean and the staff was very pleasant and professional. I would stay again. »

«We were walking The Dales Way and arrived on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The staff at the pub were extremely welcoming and reserved us a table for dinner. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy (underfloor heating), exactly what we needed after a long wet walk! The breakfast hamper was very welcome too.»

«The property was a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Mary was so nice and really looked after us. We were even given torches if we wanted to go out at night. A lovely breakfast and you could have as much as you want. I would recommend anyone to stay in this beautiful part of the world and this lovely place.»
