Party i loungen
Nydelige rom med fantastisk utsikt over byen. Vi hadde «deluxe» rom med tilfang til lounge. Denne loungen har blitt vesentlig dårligere mht servering i løpet av årene vi har bodd på dette hotellet. Denne gangen var det kun ost og kjeks som ble servert. Videre burde hotellet vurdere å ha en slags kontroll på hvem som slippes inn. Under dette oppholdet opplevde vi at en mengde personer som ikke bodde der ble sluppet inn av ei med tilgang til loungen, og de tømte alt av alkohol som var tilgjengelig i loungen. Dette skjedde begge kveldene vi var innom der. Neste gang betaler vi ikke ekstra for loungetilgang.

Friendlier, cleaner, maybe a little bit more fruga
Service has improved substantially. The front desk is faster and friendlier than ever. There are a couple of austerity symptons: the food available in the lounge has been cut to a minimal choice of cold snacks. The lounge is unmanned and seldom maintained. This also means that groups of people can and will sneak in. The toiletries provided in the room are also reduced. Toilet paper from two to one roll, soap dispensers can be quite empty before being replenished. Luckily, none of this posed a problem. Room cleanliness is excellent, might even have improved if that´s at all possible.

Sentralt og komfortabelt hotell i Ixell
Vi ble mottatt med god service og vennlighet da vi ankom og fikk flytte inn på rommet med det samme, selv om vi ankom tidlig på formiddagen. Rommet var romslig og lekkert og hadde fantastisk utsikt fra vårt rom 13.etasje.Hotellet ligger svært sentralt, med gangavstand til det meste og har et fint treningsrom og spaavdeling med panaramautsikt i 23.etasje.

Finally a hotel where everything was all good!
This hotel was super nice! It is a few years since it was renovated but everything was just fine after all. Hotel elevators will never be the same again after we stayed here. There are six elevators and it only took a few seconds the the elevator to arrive. This was surprisingly comfortable! Parking is in the basement with a separate elevator to the reception. It has EV-chargers. Normally there is always something negative to set your finger on at a hotel, but here it was nothing! The motorized shades in front of the windows was taken straight out of a James Bond movie! It's just a short walk to the old town and Grande Place. Recommended!

Enjoyed my stay. Large modern room, exceptional view over the city, perfect sauna which has also incredible view!!! Breakfast and bat were great. And service is perfect. Staff is friendly. Area is walkable and uptown location is much better than being in city center. They also offered free walking tour for uptown, which was very nice. Mark is doing great job as a guide, learned a lot about architecture of the city.

Lovely hotel, with spacious rooms. I had a lovely view of the Palace of Justice (currently with scaffolding) and the big wheel from the 15th floor. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The rain shower was great, too! The highlight was the breakfast buffet. Good ingredients, lots of variety and set me up nicely for a day in Ghent. The only downside is that it is a bit of a walk (15 mins) from the historic centre, but wasn't a problem with the lovely weather!
