«Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!»

«The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was ...

«Me and my friends were really looking forward to this weekend away, was very disappointed that first they toke my money from my card when it was pay at property I had to call to find out why? The breakfast food some was finished so we didn’t get some of the things the toaster was broken you had to keep waiting for cups, the surna was broken so was the jacuzzi, the person that makes the room didn’t even bother to re do the room. «We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there»

«I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We ...

«Hotellet ligger langt unna tettsteder, bil anbefales. Ganske stort hotell, noen deler bærer preg av slitasje. Bra frokost, variert utvalg. Hyggelig peisestue ved siden av resepsjonen. Innendørs svømmebasseng og boblebad er et pluss. Stor parkeringsplass. Grei Wifi. Varierende servicegrad i resepsjonen (personavhengig). Gjorde et forsøk på å spise middag i restauranten The Huntsman's Inn på samme sted, men etter å ha ventet i 20 minutter uten å få bestilt, forlot vi stedet.»

«Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.»

«ウィンダミアに行くときは必ずここに泊まります。 今回は3泊しましたが、あいにく体調が完全では無く、ホテルでの夕食は1度しか食べられなかったのが残念です。 食事もスタッフの対応も、そして庭園も含めてゆったりと過ごせる隠れ家にしたい場所です。»

«New rooms were very nice.»

«Hyggelig personale og veldig god mat. Rommet, og i særdeleshet badet var lite, til å være et superior room til nesten 2000 for natten. Senga var god, men dyna var klumpete og tung og ga derfor en urolig natt. »
