«We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional.
Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. But it is not a recent construction.

«On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered.
The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. «Location was great. Room layout was good and amenities were good. Sadly the apartment was tired looking, about 80% clean. Chairs and carpet had permanent stains, time for an upgrade, repairs on toilet wall were very poor. Dust was collecting on top edge of tiles and furniture legs at the base. Pillows were both flat in the bedroom, could not get a comfortable position. Would only rate as 3 star.»
