«The hotel is ideally located on the promenade, with the high street on the other side. Easy access to the beach and local transport. The room was big, with nice interior and comfortable beds. Huge bathroom with bathtub and toiletries provided. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well. The breakfast was nice, with a menu with cooked food to choose from and a small selection of cereals, juice, croissants and fresh fruit.»

«Upon arrival we were upgraded to a lovely big room at the front overlooking the harbour. Comfy, clean bed, really powerful shower and we were asked if we wanted our tea and coffee replenishing. Guys on reception were super helpful and friendly. Room is not serviced unless you request it to be. We stayed 4 nights and on the Friday there was a late night bar a few doors down that was open till 4 in the morning with loud music that could be heard from our room but not enough to stop us sleeping. ...

«Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING ...

«Nice hotel but it has no lift so you have to carry your luggage up loads of steep stairs !! The rooms are a bit small and the shower is not great. Breakfast is fairly good but can be very chaotic. If you are not lucky enough to get one of the 4 parking spaces out the front then you have to pay at the local car park 200 yards away. The hotel is in a nice location next to the river.»
